Windy days...
Apr. 4th, 2010 12:35 pmIt's been lovely here the past few days--just the right temperature and windy. I ran across this quote awhile back, and now seems to be the perfect time to post it. I posted it very early this morning on my Facebook page--the first thing I've ever posted there. It just seemed so appropriate last night though, after standing outside when it was all quiet, and feeling the wind blow by. :)
Quote of the Post: Only those in tune with nature seem to pick up on the energy in wind. All sorts of things get swept off in the breeze-ghosts, pieces of soul, voices unsung, thoughts repressed, love uncherished, and a thousands galore of spiritual ether. Wind is an emotional rush because emotions are rushing by. -Terri Guillemets
So try to take some time to just stand outside and listen...you never know what you may hear or feel.
And Happy Easter :)

Mar. 5th, 2010 08:17 amWas browsing around Dreamwidth and happened to check
metaquotes and found this entry:
"It is a truth universally obnoxious that whenever one wishes to dash off 500 words of cheerful smut for a harried friend, said smut grows a novel-esque plot, yet whenever one is obliged to finish up some plotty gen, one's muse abruptly goes all bow-chicka-wow-etc. For the record, Jack hates me in four out of four universes, but Daniel's currently laughing his head off."

Now, I'll be honest--I'm not a writer, but I have read a lot over the years from people this has happened to. I seriously just had to laugh when I read this. Was just too funny, and seemed mostly true.
:D
Quote of the Post: Our five senses are incomplete without the sixth--a sense of humor.
